I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
